Christopher Roberts

Chief Financial Officer

Christopher Roberts is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Systems Made Simple. He brings more than 25 years' experience in government contracting, primarily in the information technology aerospace, and defense sectors, including professional services, software products, and hardware manufacturing businesses.

Before joining Systems Made Simple, Mr. Roberts served in financial management, contracts administration, and business development positions for several leading technology companies in the Washington, DC area, including Integral Systems/Kratos, Pearson Analytic Solutions, CTA Space Systems, System Planning Corp., and Atlantic Aerospace Electronics Corp. In addition to these efforts, he has served as the chief financial officer for three successful startups.

Mr. Roberts also has experience in the satellite design, manufacture, and operation arenas, including the software products used for on-orbit satellite command and control. He is a co-author of Antitrust for Business, and has published articles on antitrust and patent law, space policy, information technology, and corporate finance. Mr. Roberts holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT, a JD from the University of Virginia Law School, and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
