Ezra Oyer
Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer
Ezra has 25 years of experience in the development of software applications and a solid track record of technical accomplishment and entrepreneurial achievement. Ezra became a full partner of SMS and was subsequently elected to the Board of Directors in 1997. Ezra is currently responsible for managing Corporate Support, including Research and Development, IT, and other internal corporate initiatives.
Ezra also plays a major role in assisting the marketing department stay abreast of the latest technologies and their impact on our products and services. Mr. Oyer received a degree in Computer Science from the Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. Upon graduation in 1985, Ezra joined General Electric, Inc. where he was engaged in the development of navigational electronic warfare systems.
Ezra joined Paralogix Corporation in 1989, and led the development of sophisticated graphical networking systems for the utility industry. In 1995, Mr. Oyer joined Systems Made Simple, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Among his many accomplishments with SMS, Mr. Oyer has played a critical role in establishing the standard for excellence and personal commitment to both our corporation and our customers.

To me, SMS is all about meeting the business need. I have seen a number of technological "latest and greatest" come and go in my 20+ plus years in our industry. I believe our focus on solving our customers' problems is why after 20 years we're still in business and I don't see it ever going out of style.
