Matthew Wilson

Mr. Wilson is the Vice President of Operations and has been with Systems Made Simple for 8 years.

Mr. Wilson started his IT career in 1982 working for Alcan Aluminum Corporation supplying analysis, design, development, implementation and support services for ERP systems in the support of this primary aluminum metals manufacturer. In 1987, Mr. Wilson joined Health Care Data Systems as a Project Manager providing leadership, program and project management, and business process analysis and reengineering services in support of Syracuse, New York's largest acute care hospital. Mr. Wilson returned to the manufacturing fold by joining ITT Goulds Pumps in 1995 as a Senior Business Analyst, providing leadership, program and project manager, and business process analysis design. Mr. Wilson helped institute an SDLC methodology developed by Systems Made Simple into the corporation. Mr. Wilson joined SMS in 1999 and performed a number of roles within the company including business process analysis, data modeling, and leading outsourced IT data center service offerings. Mr. Wilson entered the retail industry joining Raymour & Flanigan Furniture in 2004 as Director of Applications, providing IT leadership, strategy, and governance for the enterprise applications. Mr. Wilson rejoined Systems Made Simple in 2008 as the Director of the IT Services Competency Center, providing leadership, program and project management in support of several federal government agencies.

Mr. Wilson has a wide range of IT skills covering a diverse set of industry backgrounds. Mr. Wilson earned his Bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University in Computer Technology.
