Director of Corporate Initiatives
Mr. Campion is the Director of Corporate Initiatives for Systems Made Simple. Mr. Campion joined the Systems Made Simple team in the spring of 1998.
Mr. Campion began his career in the Data Processing Division of Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 1973. Mr. Campion developed his overall IT skills in Operations, Analysis, Design and Development during his time at Empire. In 1978, Mr. Campion joined Policy Management Systems Corp (PMSC), a software organization specializing in the development of healthcare related applications for Medicare and National Blue Cross/Shield organizations. Mr. Campion continued his development in the software engineering field as well as developing strong Project and Program Management skills related to the Facilities Management of large-scale IT Operations. Mr. Campion moved into an IT Directorship for Utica Blue Cross in 1991 and was directly responsible for the overall IT operations of the $260m health insurance organization. In 1998, Mr. Campion joined Systems Made Simple as a Business Systems Analyst. He has taken the lead role in the application development, project management and program management areas of the organization during his tenure at Systems Made Simple.
Mr. Campion has over thirty years of experience in the IT field and a strong background in software development, finance and management. Mr. Campion completed his Bachelors degree at Siena College, majoring in Finance. He has also received a Management Certification from the Association for Systems Management through course work at Utica College of Syracuse University.
