Environment/Energy

Systems Made Simple is a leading provider of IT solutions and services that support the needs of environmental and energy programs to gather, track, analyze and report upon massive amounts of data.

As Federal agencies attempt to reduce GHG emissions, increase energy efficiency, conserve water, and reduce waste, they are faced with the staggering prospect of dealing with thousands of terabytes of information. Through a foundation of proven technology and a legacy of delivering custom-built applications, SMS assists the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and state and local power authorities in aggregating, analyzing, auditing and acting upon this data.

Since 1993, SMS has provided products and services to the environmental and energy sector. We support major power producers and suppliers in the Upstate New York area most notably National Grid. SMS has developed products to support the tracking consumption and billing for both unregulated and regulated power, power acquisition products that assist users in gaining access to power when it's the cheapest, and products that provide trending and analysis of energy usage.

I have known and worked with SMS for many years. They worked for me on their very first contract. I watched the company grow from the basement of their homes, to the executive suites of their current successful company. Their leadership as entrepreneurs and their passion for their business is only equaled by their loyalty to their customers, and the realization that without their valued employees, none of their success would be possible.”
