Each of these world leaders in manufacturing and distribution looked to SMS for our expertise in bringing legacy systems into the client/server and web domains. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have served these companies for the past 15 years with products that have allowed them to gain a competitive advantage in their respective marketplaces.

SMS began as a small business providing expert consulting services in the manufacturing space to assist our clients in understanding their business needs as they moved out of legacy environments and into the new technologies of the '90s and beyond. We have maintained excellent working relationships with our customers in the manufacturing field and to this day still support their ongoing maintenance and new development needs.

Additionally, we have worked with many of the IT departments within these companies to assist them in their strategies for integrating new technologies within their existing legacy environments. This expertise has allowed many of our customers to gradually phase out older systems and replace them with new technology solutions without compromising the business' ability to operate in a heterogeneous computing environment.
