SMS wins recompete for VA Program Plans & Controls
In October 2009, SMS was awarded a contract to support the Veterans Affairs Office of Information & Technology, Office of Enterprise Development Program Plans & Controls office. This project assists the VA in standardizing and institutionalizing project management processes across VA OED portfolios, programs and projects; defining products and metrics associated with these processes; periodically reviewing interim results; and identifying and executing adjustments to ensure success. "Winning this recompete contract validates the SMS philosophy of delivering the highest quality support services through a dedicated team of specialists," said Robert Sheahan, SMS Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "The results of our collaborative efforts with the VA will become a fundamental part of the OED PP&C organization that provides support for administrative, financial, and process development and dimensions associated with successful program execution and oversight."
