Key members of the SMS Program Plans and Controls (PP&C) team were asked to deliver a presentation on Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule to VA OED Executive Management. In addition to the IMP/IMS model, the team proposed a standardized Work Breakdown Structure model that will align program and project plans and schedules with an enterprise wide standard. This will help the VA establish a common measure of performance across the organization by rolling up essential project data that can be used to identify efficiencies and help stakeholders make decisions and take corrective actions.
